Heart Doctors at Second Chance School in Larisa, 25.5.2026
On Monday, 25.5.2026, a team of “Heart Doctors” visited the Second Chance School in Larisa prison and offered various expendables and free examination by distributing visual material for those who have eyes problem. Total of 28 students examined.

Heart Doctors | Free eye examination in our schools
For another year, "Heart Doctors" Organization visited our school complex and performed free eye examinations for the students of all three of our educational structures.
For our students, who live in confinement conditions with limited horizons, vision care takes on special importance. Todays action is one more reason to remember that health is a right — regardless of the walls.
Special thanks to Dr. Vasilis Dimadis and optician Venetia Xyptera, who undertook to offer free glasses with her colleagues to all those who were deemed to need them — a gesture of solidarity that counts.
It is worth noting that due to the high workload, appointments at the Ophthalmology Clinic of the University Hospital have a waiting list of months. That is precisely why initiatives like this are irreplaceable.
It should be added that "Heart Doctors" also offered many medicines to the prisons Infirmary.
We thank everyone who makes a difference — inside and outside the walls.
